In the 1960s. people were living life to the fullest. with freedom. energy. and creativity. In response. Breitling created the Top Time chronograph. embodying the spirit of the decade in watchmaking. Today. the legacy of the Top Time is kept alive through collaborations with trendsetting names in the motor industry.
This collaboration with British motorcycle brand Triumph features an ice-blue dial. precisely color-matched to a 1951 Triumph Thunderbird 6T and a rare blue-dialed Breitling Top Time Ref. 815 from the '70s. Collectors can also spot vintage Breitling logos. mushroom chronograph pushers and "Zorro" dial designs. Plus. Top Time's iconic bowtie motif - a nod to the swashbuckler's mask - is added via metal brushing for a radiant textured effect.
The design showcases a Triumph emblem at the 6-o'clock position. a speed-measuring tachymeter scale. and "squircle" subdials that resemble vintage dashboard gauges. It is powered by the exceptional Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01 engine.
