Breitling's Chronomat. introduced in 1984. is a noteworthy timepiece in the brand's history. In a market of extra-thin quartz watches. Based on the Frecce Tricolori chronograph. which was produced in 1983 with an Italian aerial squadron. the Chronomat embodied Breitling's 100th anniversary and strengthened the mechanical chronograph's place of prestige at the brand.
Fashioned from stainless steel and 18ct red gold. the Chronomat showcases a 42mm case and the renowned bezel with its four rider tabs. With available black. blue. silver. and copper dials. this Chronomat is matched to Breitling's signature "Rouleaux" bracelet and is driven by the in-house Breitling Manufacture Calibre 01. a chronometer certified by the COSC.
